Since our founding more than 25 years ago in the renowned Lungau holiday region, LUGAMA GmbH has been one of the leading full-service suppliers of commercial kitchen and refrigeration technology in the Salzburg region and is the market leader for cutlery polishing machines in Austria.
- 1993 The sole proprietorship was incorporated into LUGAMA (Lungauer-Gastronomie-Maschinen) Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH
- 1997 We took over exclusive distribution of Hypocampus cutlery polishing machines
- 2000 Our sales and customer service activities were consolidated in the new business building in Mauterndorf
- 2001 We began producing the POLISTAR cutlery polishing machine at our plant in Mauterndorf
- 2002 The excellent quality of the POLISTAR cutlery polishing machine was confirmed by certification from the Austrian TÜV
- 2006 Assumption of exclusive distribution for HÄLLDE products in Austria
- 2007 Master craftsman's company for refrigeration and air-conditioning technology
- 2008 Certified refrigeration and air-conditioning technology company (company certificate BMLFUW-KK-No. 41)
- 2012 Transfer of the company from the Knauer family to Mag. (FH) Herbert Sampl and DI (FH) Karl-Heinz Schröcker
- 2012 Renaming as LUGAMA GmbH
- 2013 New company building and relocation to the new offices
- 2014 Assumption of exclusive distribution for VITO frying oil filters in Austria
- 2017 Assumption of exclusive distribution for Hygenia products in Austria
